Sky Dive

The words fall from my mind like parachutists on a group dive,
Free
Fall
Leaping out at 12000 feet,
In unison and formation,
Then breaking apart and lightly touching down
Feathers.

I fascinate on the landing,
Incredulous sentence that I see with no prior imagining or thought
One
by
One
Each letter lines up in an effort to make sense of the world
And for a moment they do and
It does.

Unabashedly unrequited.
Unabashedly mine.
